Can''t dial VPN

Hello to everyone,

first of all please to excuse me for my English.
I have D-Link DSR-250N device installed in my home. From few weeks I need to dial/establish/connect to a VPN (PPTP) from my laptop. Unfortunately this is impossible, even the option “VPN Passthrough” is enabled in router settings. The error message is "The connection was terminated by the remote computer before it could be completed". I try it via WiFi and cable connection, I to establish VPN from another computer, I try to reinstall the firmware, I try to reset the router, but the result is the same. My ISP also checked settings on their network and proved me that the problem is in my router (for the test was established direct connection between the ISP network and my laptop – bypass the router – and everything was OK). The router is with last firmware (version – 2.11_WW). Router is A2 hardware version.

I open the case in http://www.dlink.eu/support/dlinksupport.html but support did not reply (since 12th of November).

Any ideas?

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I call to regional office of D-Link on 30-th of December 2016. They asked me to sent e-mail, and this was done at same day on 10:18 o'clock. OK. Till this moment - NO REACTION. Not even "Thank you for the e-mail. We start work on your problem and will contact you as soon as we find solution." Because of holidays of New Year I will wait till the end of this week. And will call again.

Yes since the holidays are now over, I would contact them again on the phone and ask for phone support, not email.
