Hi,
I just purchased this product today "D-Link DSL-2750U New N300 ADSL2 Wireless Router".
In product details I saw it supports VPN (PPTP, L2TP, IPsec) but I dont see any VPN option in the settings!
Firmware Version: ME_1.00
Hardware Version: J1
Please advice.

- What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
- What region are you located?
I would review the manual and see if there is anything there. This modem isn't marketed here in the USA so I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please

I have answered your first 2 questions already in my first message.
I am in Taiwan.
My seller dont know this question so I had to answer here.

Contact your regional D-Link support in Taiwan. There HQ is there. ;)

So whats this forum for? Whats this forum's benefit??

This forum is mainly for USA region users. While we attempt to help others out, there are some products that we don't have any experience nor is the product marketed here in the USA. So I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.
Good Luck.

I do not see any VPN settings in the manual. I am assuming the "VPN support" implies vpn passthrough. Most of D-Link's routers have a checkbox to enable/disable but for some reason this product and firmware does not. I am guessing it is enabled by default.
If you want to set the actual router as a VPN client/server, or load 3rd party VPN on the router this is not supported.
