Fails with Linksys WRT160N base
« on: April 03, 2010, 04:12:11 PM »

I tried every possible variation of the DAP-1360 with a Linksys WRT160N base unit and they simply didn't play nicely together. I configured both "Wireless Client" mode, connecting via the LAN port and and "Repeater" mode, connecting both via the LAN port and WiFi, and my notebook's internal Atheros AR5007EG WiFi client adapter got a much better connection directly to the Linksys base.

Good luck to the rest of you, but I'm taking this one back to Fry's.

I believe I have to do the same thing (take it back to Fry's).  My DAP-1360 just can't keep connections functional for long when using the Linksys WRT160N as the base access point.  (See other post on thread regarding dropped connections).  I guess I'll have to buy a linksys range extender.  -- Eric
