We recommend doing a factory reset both before and after sending the FW file manually then setting up from scratch. I recommend following the FW update process as it ensures a good clean install of the v1.02 FW. I would do this process again and see if anything different happens.

What is ISY?

I have the exact same problem as Exchangy. I am in the U.S. Is DLink going to do some update FW for U.S. version? This is since July!! What a service?
I think I am returning the unit!
Does 868L has the same problem? I have been using DLink router all along!
So disappointed with c/net claiming as the best router!!

Do any other wired PCs or device get internet?

No other wired.
Here is the weird thing:
I have created "guest zone" and I can get my desktop to connected to guest zone wifi (wireless). But still can't connect to host wifi!!
And when I connected to guest zone wifi my network and sharing center shows my LAN is also active!! But I don't know then I am surfing the internet using wifi or LAN!!
If I disconnect the wifi connection then the LAN connection is gone too! What the.......?????
BTW all my ipads, iphones, ip cams are connected using STATIC IP only, still can't connect DHCP?!
Problem is some cameras can't connect because I can't assign static ip! (Need to know what ip certain cam connect to my router first before I can put in static ip).
Anyone tried to update to Canadian version FW 1.02? Any success?

I have loaded the v1.02 however still exhibits reservation issues. Setting all devices to Automatic and not static and using no reservations works for me.

You need to see if you can test another wired PC or LT if you can. Need to narrow down if the problem is the drivers, LAN adapter, wire or something on this PC. Maybe try PC with different router to confirm a different router works...

If you choose to load v1.02, please do a factory reset, load the FW file, factory reset and set up from scratch.
Do not use static IPs on the devices and test with auto and DHCP on devices. Just don't set any reservations on the router. D-Link knows of the problem and should be coming out with new FW soon to address this.

Thanks.
Definitely problem with the router.
I was using the same pc with DIR 826L WITHOUT any problem at all. (For 3 years now I think).
Try to upgrade to 880L because of the so called AC. May try to downgrade to 868L since it seems to have less problems.
Will try to update FW weekend and start from scratch. Or return the unit.

Try a reload of the FW after factor reset, then factor reset once again. Use Auto DHCP on the devices and don't set a reservation on the router. The PC should work and get an IP address from the router. Turn OFF all other devices while doing this.

Be sure LAN cable is a good working cable. Swap out to test.

Thanks Furry.
I updated FW to 1.02 and so far "all" DHCP worked (ipads, iphones, ip cameras, insteon, wemo).
Hope it will last!
Since you mentioned that reservation still not working so I am not going to try it yet until DLink fixed it.
(Spent so much time to reset all and don't want to screw it up again).
I can't register my router with DLink, it kept saying sending confirmation to my email then proceed but
I never get that email from DLink! Do you have any idea?
Thanks again.

Glad it's working.

Ya, D-Link should be coming out with new FW soon. I'll check on this. They know about the reservation problems. Ya, I just set the router up and avoided doing any reservations, for now.

Ya, I did notice that trying to register with MDL (mydlink), I got some error message. I haven't tried again since it's been off line and i'm currently testing on my 868L.

Thanks Furry.

Have you found a fix?

I have been experiencing the same with both DAP-1320 and now the DSP-W215. Both works fine when I e.g. use my LG G2 or an old DIR-655 as hotspot. I have the newest firmware on my DIR-880 and have reported the issue on both Facebook, tech-support and here in this forum (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=61395.0).

Also EU-region (Denmark)

Kind regards,
Michael
