Router on a stick
« on: April 25, 2013, 08:39:34 PM »

DGS-1224T

I know the term in cisco is trunk port I'm not sure how to configure this switch correctly.   I want ports 9 - 18 to be vlan 10 and ports 17 - 24 to be vlan 20.  I would like ports 1 and 2 to be the uplink to the pfsense firewall.  How do I configure this on the dgs-1224t?  I've done it a few times on cisco equipment.

On the switch I have it as follows let me know if this is wrong please.

VID 01  03 - 08 untagged          Tagged 01 / 02
VID 10  09 - 16 untagged          Tagged 01 / 02
VID 20  17 - 24 untagged          Tagged 01 / 02

The tagged ports are going to a pfsense box where Vlan tagging is enabled.
