Title: Power Adapter for the DNS-343
Post by: jbebad on September 05, 2010, 12:42:38 AM
It seems my power adapter went out. I have no power to my DNS-343.
I have tried to search the d-link site to see if the adapter can be ordered separately - no luck.

I have seen smaller adapters in local shops (I live in China), but the amperage on the DNS-343 power adapter is 9.5 amps, and the smaller ones (although they do the same voltage) put out only 7.5 amps.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Johnnie

The D-Link site contains a page in the support section for "Purchasing Spare Parts".  There's an email form with a drop down list for the model number.  See the "PURCHASING SPARE PARTS" link on this page:

Thanks! If it had been a snake it would have killed me.  I sent them an e-mail.

No problem, glad I could help.  When you hear back from D'Link, please post what happens.

Mine also failed, the New Zealand version is a 19V 7.89A
I did get a replacement from the local computer supply shop (JayCar MP-3471) for the right voltage and also got a replacement from D-Link Australia, but when received, this was a 19V 4.74A, so don't know why the difference.
