EightBitMafia:
Hello,

I am trying to connect to my roku developer account on a smart tv with no ethernet port, only wireless.

The device works fine, the DIR-825 can ping the device

The routers  admin - tools > system check > ping test > 192.168.0.194

Response from 192.168.0.194 received in 1 milliseconds. TTL = 64
Response from 192.168.0.194 received in 1 milliseconds. TTL = 64
Response from 192.168.0.194 received in 1 milliseconds. TTL = 64
Response from 192.168.0.194 received in 1 milliseconds. TTL = 64
Response from 192.168.0.194 received in 1 milliseconds. TTL = 64
Response from 192.168.0.194 received in 1 milliseconds. TTL = 64
...

But the computer when trying to use http times out, and ping says host unreachable.

The router login is on 192.168.0.1

everything on system is on 192.168.0.X

Is there something missing I need to configure to make this work, or do I need a newer router.

Thanks

Also have a 5-port gigabit desktop TP-Link switch  TL-SG105

Computer runs through switch to DIR-825 thats connected to ARRIS Modem, the Roku TVs are wirelessly connected are TCL 32S301's

FurryNutz:
Can you directly connect the PC to the back of the 825 router and test with this configuration?
Does the TV have a Ethernet port?

* What wireless modes are you using?

Any security software enabled on the PC while testing?

EightBitMafia:
TV has no ethernet port

I will have to see if I can connect without the switch in between, however though when logged into the router 192.168.0.1 via browser the ping test in the router software can ping it, its just that windows cannot from the command prompt and browser cannot surf to http://192.168.0.194, even when windows firewall is disabled, Also in route print I see no 192.168.0.194 address to tv and when I ping that it says unreachable and responds from 192.168.0.197 my PC IP

I think Mixed 802.11n, 802.11g and 802.11b (default)
