Not power up
« on: August 06, 2018, 01:34:19 AM »

Hi, my DCS-930 does not power up suddenly after a few conection cycles when I was testing the camera from different places... Always has been working fine, but yesterday suddenly did not turn up, no leds, nothing.

Only when I conect the power, I can hear a very very low continous noise coming from some electronic component, leds does not light..

Could you please help me out?
Do you know what is the problem? Some electronic component damage? Thank you. I would like to fix it, because I can not return the product anymore.

Look at the power adapter. Find a meter tool and measure the voltage and amps at the tip. Should be same as whats listed on the sticker.

5V.
The adapter is new, and was working perfectly. It seems that something is burnt but I do not know which component, I hear a beeeep very low, and no leds lights.
I think the camera is dead, but I could fix it, would be better...But I dont know what is happening.

If not, i presume the camera needs to just be replaced. You might find used ones on amazon or fleabay.  :-\
