DGS-3100-24P Stacking

We are trying to stack 4 DGS-3100-24P.  We seem to have it up and running with all the switches taking on a proper stack ID.  However, when in this configuration we are noticing that the network is extremely slow. 

We are stacking via the hdmi ports on the back of the switches. 

Is there any guide that anyone can point me towards?
