DIR885L by itself has reset Wifi config to factory defaults
« on: December 02, 2018, 06:34:54 AM »

HW: A2, FW 1.20, region: EMEA
Strange thing happened twice to my 885 after ‘power down’. I mean disconnecting from AC230 on PDU not switching off by Power buton on the back of the router. The SSID and WiFi password were then reset to factory defaults. Other configuration parameters remained untouched.
My old TPlink routers have been every day disconnected from power on PDU without any impact on their configuration and performance. Is DIR-885 really so sensitive to ‘power down’?

Try a full factory reset, manually re-load v1.20 FW file, after it processes, factory reset once more and setup from scratch.
See if the problem happens again or not.
