Can you plug a hard drive with DNR recordings directly into a PC USB plug and view the files?

If you let the DNR format the drive for NTFS, I believe you can...I haven't tried this with mine though. ::)

You can only see the files in Windows Explorer.
It is unknown how to play them back. I don't think that is possible. It appears that up to 4 streams are encoded into 1 file, so you'd have to know how to separate them out. The file system is laid out in date/time format.
