Title: How to tell if you're using wireless 'N'
Post by: marklyn on November 25, 2008, 11:12:08 AM
ok, this is probably a not-so-bright question, but I'll ask anyway.

Just got a new laptop with wireless N built in.  When I'm connected to my DIR-625, how can I tell that I'm actually using the 'N" instead of a 802.3g connection?

The utility you connect with should tell you.

On my 625 (A1) you login to the router and then check under "Status" / "Wireless" and you should see therein all the individual wireless connections (by IP & MAC address) along with their relative connection speeds.
