After the latest update (April 19, 2016 ) from JAVA , couldn’t view any video via DNR-202L.
I uninstalled latest JAVA version 8 , update 91 , then reinstalled earlier version from March 23, 2016 (version 8 update 77) and all is well again.

Which platform? Windows or Mac?
What version of OS?
Did you clear all browser caches before and after updating Java?
Did you set up Java security exceptions to allow for the DNR?
Also reset security prompts for Java as well.
I can confirm that the DNR is working with most current version of Java for me on Safari/Mac and IE11/Windows 7x64.

Same problem same solution on two PC’s. One running Windows 10 , the other Windows 7.
I used ‘REVO Uninstaller’ to remove JAVA. Removed all the related files / folders REVO found. Did nothing else.
The security exception which was previously set up remained.
Just deleted new version, installed previous version, opened DNR and all was working again.

Security prompts should be reset and the IP address of the DNR should be put into Java security exceptions.
Working for me.

Just loaded recent Java on Windows 10x64 and working there too in IE11.

When I had the recent problem with JAVA I was using Firefox.
Not certain, but I think it ran OK in Explorer 11 for me.
Now it runs in either.

Ok, I'm seeing the problem as well. FF on Windows 10x64 is not displaying any video. Black screen. IE11 is working fine. :-\
I take that back, after clicking on the view as 1 or view as 2x2, the video appears. Does not appear until you select one of those buttons. :-[
