Nah, I think the better idea would be to toss these in the garbage and get a real switch.

These are absolute junk!

We''ll would be a shame to find out that it maybe a quick fix or something in the configuration.

Your stuff man. IMO you haven't narrowed the problem down enough to consider trashing them. This maybe a configuration issue not a HW issue. I presume they would work fine if you had more help and support from D-Link. It would be worth a call.

Good Luck though.  ::)

Ok I can reproduce it.

Enabling SSL logins - wait about 2 hours- AAA-802.1x enables itself.  System becomes unresponsive.
Disable and it goes back to being perfect.

Can you use non SSL logins?

Ok, possible FW issue. This is something that 2nd level support should be able to help with and provide some more information about. Reference this forum thread as well. I presume there is a problem in this area and hopefully D-Link and help more. Worth the phone call IMO.

Wonder why the AAA-801.1x self enables. Odd.  :o

Who knows.  Maybe something with the Radius cert exchange stuff and it may have been tied to it through code or something.

Hi,

not sure, if this is meaningful: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435013#c197
Amongst others DGS-1210-24 is mentioned to have a self signed certificate (which comes into play, if you connect via SSL), that results in a firefox error (sec_error_reused_issuer_and_serial) preventing access to the box.
