I have installed the DCS-5029 on a local LAN. No cloud services or WAN connectivity is involved. The camera is connected by Ethernet, and the computer is also on Ethernet.
When observing the live video from the DCS-5029 using a desktop computer browser, the video has frequent blinks. The frame rate appears to be 3 to 5 per second. Every 5 to 10 of those frames is substituted with a white frame, causing the blinking.
I have the same blinking when monitoring video from Firefox under windows (several different computers) and from Android tablets.
What is the solution?
Firmware Version 1.11.00
Hardware Version A
MCU Version 20140207

- What region are you located?
What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?
What is the distance between the Camera and the main host router?
How many other wireless devices do you have connected to the main host router?
- Any 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz cordless house phones or WiFi APs near by that maybe causing interferences?
- Any other WiFi routers in the area that maybe causing interferences? Link> Use a WiFi Scanner (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48327.0) to find out. How many?
Does IE do the same thing?
Has a factory reset been performed?
There is v1.13 as well...

Thanks for the reply. Per my original post, the connection is on a LAN via gigabit Ethernet (wired network). Wireless is not being used.
The same result is seen on Firefox IE and Chrome under Windows. And with Firefox and Chrome under android also.
On this page http://support.dlink.com/ProductInfo.aspx?m=DCS-5029L the only hardware revision is A, and the latest firmware available is 1.11.0.
Please provide a link for firmware 1.13
The DCS-5029L is brand new out of the box. This behavior was seen immediately on first use, so a factory reset seems to be superflouous.
