Send POST request when activated?

(1/2) > >>

KernelPanic:
Hi,

I recently purchased a motion sensor (just one, I'm still in the testing phase) and I'm connecting it to a server I wrote to control my LIFX lights.

Right now I'm using an IFTTT recipe that makes a POST request to my server, but there's a 2-3 seconds delay, a lot longer than what I get when I activate the push notifications on the app.

I think that making a web request with a string body shouldn't be too hard to implement and would open a whole world of possibilities for automation.

Thoughts? Do the developers visit this forum?
