On my (2) DCS-2132 cameras, one of which was updated just yesterday, I've noticed that after about 12 hours the cameras will not be accessible from the "Remote" tab on MyDlink Lite software.  They will only appear on "Local" (and of course only when connected to the same network).  This would seem to be an issue on this latest firmware release, as it did not occur previously.

Has anyone else seen this occur and had any success in fixing?

Thanks!
Ryan

Link>Welcome!

* What region are you located?
Was a factory reset performed then set up from scratch after doing the update? Might try this.

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?

I recommend setting a static IP address ON the cameras outside of the main host routers default DHCP IP address pool as a troubleshooting step: 192.168.#.21 and .22  DHCP

Test cameras with uPnP and uPnP Port Forwarding both enabled on ALL cameras: DCS Cloud (L) Series Camera Configuration and Mydlink.com

RyanDL:
Thanks for the feedback.  I set a static IP on the cameras themselves and it seems to have solved the issue.  I will report back if the condition changes.

For reference, this is in the US.  A factory reset was performed on 1 camera, not the other.  Router is a TP-Link Archer C7 running a 2.4GHz signal in AC-mode (I don't recall the encryption spec off the top of my head).  I had both cameras set to a static IP on the router and now on the cameras themselves.

Thanks,
Ryan

FurryNutz:
Glad it's working better.

These cameras prefer WPA2/AES security mode.

Enjoy.  ;)
