I've Lost My Installation CD

(1/1)

ModoExpress:
Hey,

I just reformatted my PC and I can't find the installation CD for my USB network adapter.  I figured downloading the driver online and installing that would be enough, but nope.

During installation, it tells me to plug in the network adapter and press next -- I do that then I get a pop-up
"Question

Wireless adapter not found.

Continue installing this device?

Please plug-in the DWA-125 and click "yes"

Or click "No" to stop this installation"

It's the adapter is in there, I press yes and that keeps coming back.

Anyway, is there anywhere I can download the installation CD online or is there a way I can get this driver to install?

thanks

GStuttman:
I received the D-Link Wireless N-150 Mbps USB Wi-Fi Network Adapter (DWA-125) in a package with a D-Link router that I no longer have. I no longer have the install CD or I never received it. I just downloaded the latest drivers from the D-Link web site. After expanding the .zip I found the setup.exe and clicking on it allowed me to install and use the DWA-125 on a Windows XP system. I am glad that D-Link supplied drivers from Windows XP to 8.1. I wish that Canon would do the same for their N1220U scanner, so I could move my scanner from Windows XP to Windows 7 or 8.

FurryNutz:
More up to date drivers are always on the main web site for D-Link. Glad you got it working.

Enjoy.
