Hi, sorry for my english.
I have a NAS and I have installed 2x hard drives from 4 TB in raid 1.
All perfect until 75% capacity about 3 TB.
Now the upload speed is less than 1 Mb / sec and the download is normal.
The hard drives are 2x WD Purple of 4 TB.

NAS have the latest firmware.
Does anyone know what can happen??

Thank you.

Link>Welcome!

  • What region are you located?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
Is the DNS getting a Dynamic IP address from the main host router? I recommend using a Static IP address ON the DNS set to 192.168.#.20 or .32.
Swap out LAN cables. Link> Cat6 is recommended.

How is the PC connected with the DNS? Wired or wireless?
Try connecting the PC wired to a external Gb network switch with the DNS.

A few questions.
1) what size are the files you are uploading?
2) has there been any changes to your network?
3) has the operating system of your computer/s been updated recently (win 10 auto update as an example)?
4) what make is your computer that you are using for these timed uploads (HP computers have been having slow down problems after the latest win 10 update)?

There are reasons for the above questions, and those from FurryNutz, because without full information it is like someone asking 'how long is a piece of string'.
