Post by: pjanet on July 29, 2013, 01:03:06 PM
Hi to All,

I did a HDD Check on my DNS-320 using Management -> Scan Disk via WEB application.
I got Failure at the end and information that I have to check my HDD with other application.

Can you suggest to me how can I do this ?

I have installed ffp ( ver 1.3 ) on my DNS-320.

Any information will be helpfully.

Peter

1) Backup the data on the problem drive.

2) Download the disk test tools from the disk manufactures site.

3) Remove the drive from the DNS-320 and put it in a USB/SATA caddy or adapter.

4) Plug USB mounted drive into computer.

5) Run the disk test tools against the drive in question.

6) If the drive shows up as defective replace it and restore your backed up data..
