Connection Issues
« on: January 26, 2017, 08:40:41 AM »

I currently have two cameras. My house is using a dlink 855L router, and one camera is wifi connected to this router in the house. This camera works I'd say 100% of the time. I have cat6 underground suited cable ran out to my barn underground its about 150ft long, from the 855L connected to a dlink dir-605L set up as an access point. My camera in the barn disconnects quite often and after I reboot the router in the house it often connects again. The access point in the barn is statically set at a high address i think 192.168.0.150 out of 200 to not be interfered with. I have not physically set the cameras to have static addresses that I know of, I just ran the camera software to connect them. Any ideas?

What FW is loaded on the cameras?
What wireless mode is the 601 using in the barn? Try single mode N, WPA2 and AES only on manual channel 11 if your main host router is using channel 1. Or vice versa.
