Commands Url / API for DCS-932L
« on: March 15, 2014, 07:59:27 AM »

Hello,

I'm looking for url commands for my DLink DCS-932L.
I read the documentations of various other camera.
I would like to change parameters with this kind of command :
http: //user:password@192.168.xxx.xxx/setparam.cgi?motion_enabled=1

If i put this url in a navigator, there is no modification in the param section :(
Someone can help me ?

Other documentation for example :
ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Multimedia/URL%20Commands/URL%20command%20for%20DCS-3420,%20DCS-6620_G_,%20DCS-3220_G__2007_06_06.pdf

Here's what I know - subject to verification re user vs. admin -

DCS-93xL Camera functions
call with http://CameraIP:Cameraport/function

view functions:
1   mvideo.htm      stream   admin or user
2   lphone.htm      stream   admin or user
3   mjpeg.cgi      stream   admin or user
4   mobile.htm      still   admin or user
5   iphone.htm      still   admin or user
6   image/jpeg.cgi   still   admin or user
  V   video.cgi      stream   admin only?
  A   audio.cgi      audio   admin only?

view function characteristics: (tested on a Mac)
#1,2,4,5 display camera name at top, and have buttons to select alternate live/still modes (use camera html)
#1 & #4 resizes to fill screen in Chrome & Epic; but displays 1350 pixel wide on Firefox
#2 does not work in Chrome on iOS (iPad)
#3 does not work in Chrome or Epic; centered in FF; upper left in Safari
#6 upper left in Chrome or Safari
#V same as #3 on Firefox; not on Chrome or Safari; incomplete load still image on Safari (iPad)
#A works on Chrome; no audio on Firefox or Safari; no on Safari (iPad)

control functions:
  7      jview.htm      admin only?
  8      wizard.htm      admin only?
  9      advanced.htm      admin only?
  10      stsdev.htm      admin only?

control function characteristics: (tested on a Mac)
   to be determined

I do not believe that any parametric commands work on these simple cameras.

I try different commands in Firefox and Chrome.
I also write a little html form to POST the right parameters.
The last thing i do was to listen network when saving with the web interface and try to call the request again but it doesn't work.

First call :

I'm not sure what you are asking at this point - these simpler cameras do not accept commands like "setSystemMotion"
