Drives finally failed, trouble config new ones

So I have 2 DNS-321's and the drive(s) on one finally failed. I have purchased 2 new ones and had trouble swapping them out so I decided to just start fresh. When I try to format I the system tool will not allow me to enter the size of the hard drive(s) Further, it is misreporting the size of the drives I installed as a negative number (-398 GB)See attached. What could be wrong here?
