Title: Will the DNS-343 power back one automatically upon ups shutdown?
Post by: fmenard123 on August 11, 2008, 08:21:03 PM
One feature that might have me upgrade my DNS323 to a DNS343 is whether the unit will come back on automatically after an automatic UPS shudown?

If existing on the 343, why would this feature be impossible to implement as a firmware fix on the 323?

This feature is currently unavailable on the DNS-343 firmware 1.01, however will be available in firmware 1.02. I am very sorry but I do not have a release date for this firmware at this time.

how about DNS-323?  Is my 323 capable of re-powering back-on automatically?

The DNS-323 does not have UPS support.

It works with firmware 1.02 which is just out. I have tested it with APC SmartUPS.

However, what DNS-343 really lacks is this -> http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=2419.0
