What Hardware version is your router? DIR-868L A1
Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? I can't recall
Are you wired or wireless connected to the router? Wired, of course
I'm in Mexico City, Mexico

So I tried to follow the instructions on the DD-WRT site, loaded the "factory-to-ddwrt.bin" file and the thing rebooted, but it went into brick mode (Amber/orange light),

I tried the emergency mode already but I can't access into the emergency flash page. Funny thing is, when I ping the router (192.168.0.1), I get a response, but it keeps saying "Destination host unreachable".

So, what can I do? :( How can I get it back to work?

Try a factory reset and 192.168.1.1 should be seen for WRTs UI...

Are you sure you followed this process?
Emergency Recovery Mode

If your sure you did and everything is configured right and you can't get to the recovery page, then the NVRAM boot sector on the router has been wiped or corrupted. You might search the DD-WRT forum to see if there was a post about someone getting the NVRAM re-seated. I remember seeing a post about someone attempting to get the NVRAM reseated. I don't know if they were fully successful.

Other than this, nothing else can be done.
