What ISP service do you have? DSL or Cable?
What ISP modem do you have. Stand alone or built in router?
How are you connecting to the router? Wired or Wireless?
If Wireless, what modes are you using?
Any other Wifi routers in the area?
Any cordless house phones?
What devices are you connecting that you see this issue with?
Has anything changed over the pasted week that might effect your network?
ISP = Verizon FIOS (Fiber to the Premises)
No ISP modem, router connects directly via ethernet to FIOS ONT.
Connecting devices to router wirelessly, always 5ghz N ONLY
Plenty of other wifi routers in the area, none at 5ghz
No cordless phones around.
This issue happens with all devices that connect (laptops, phones with wifi that support 5ghz n, anything connected to the 5 ghz n wireless bridges I use). Now it appears to be once a day when I need to reset because of an inability to load a page or do anything with the internet forcing me to reset. There are zero problem on Verizon's end, i.e. it's not an ISP problem, definitely an issue with DGL-4500. Once I plug and unplug it's fine until the next time this problem shows up (which used to be several days, now it appears to be once a day)
NOTHING has changed over the last few weeks, this issue just started popping up all of a sudden. Wondering if a change to firmware (even to 1.15) would help or if I simply need a new router.
Thanks.
