Title: HOW CAN I redirect Webpage on a router DIR-655 & ADP-2590
Post by: King1 on April 11, 2015, 05:42:12 AM
typically, in a public wi-fi accessible establishment, you connect without having to enter a key to access the network's wireless internet. Then, no matter what website you try to access, it redirects you to their page first, informing you of the rules and guidelines of using their wireless internet network, and you must either check a box indicating you have read and understood the rules, or, sign in using a username and password granted to you already (like at a hotel).

Is this possible to do on a router (such as a DIR-655 & ADP-2590 )? HOW CAN I SET THIS PAGE ON?

I think that any redirects maybe done with a DNS service, web service and using custom DDNS specially set up. You might want to contact your ISP or a specialized IT service that you can talk to some one about seeing this up. FYI, using a DIR series class router is typically recommended for home networks and not for business environments. You may want to contact D-Link and ask them about what would best be suited for your business environment needs. Ask them about the DSR series routers.

Let us know how it goes...
