system hangs - can't access or ping
« on: December 14, 2009, 11:46:59 AM »

This has started happening frequently.  I had to hard power down the unit this morning and by the time I came back from lunch it was frozen again, not responding to anything.  I have been running 1.03 since I upgraded from a 323 unit about 3 months ago.
anyone else seeing this, or have any thoughts?
thanks

forgot to mention, I'm also running the AD add-on.
based on other posts, I've checked and it does say something about sync'ing - for whatever reason...
Sync Time Remaining:  822.3 minute(s)
I haven't changed anything on the drives or had one fail (or gotten an email alert).
I guess that might be from hard booting it....
anyways, I'm going to wait until that finishes to re-update the FW.

Be sure to reset the unit to factory defaults after updating the firmware and allow the unit to re-sync if needed.
