Title: How to configure DSL-2750U as WAN extend (BRIDGE) when connected to LAN4
Post by: nirmalmskrill on May 10, 2021, 07:12:37 AM
Hello,

I have a DSL_2750U router. I have connected it to a WLAN port 4 from LAN port another router to enable bridge.
How can I configure for the same?
The router doesn't show any wireless clients connected, or DHCP Clients
NTP doesn't maintain the time for router

Is there any updated firmware for this usage

FW Version - IN1.15
HW Version - U1

DSL modems do not support any kind of bridge mode. Wired or wireless.

Currently the router is just sharing the internet from the Primary router

Is there any way to view the Wireless CLients?

No. The DSL modem has to work as a primary router.

OK. Tx...

Why does NTP doesn't maintain time?

It gets it's information from the RJ11 phone DSL internet service line that the modem connects to. Not from the LAN side.

If bridge isn't possible in DSL

How is my router transmitting data from WLAN port?

WLAN is the wireless LAN, not a ethernet port. Data flows from any devices connected to the wireless radios out thru the RJ11 DSL phone port. There can be some data flow from the wireless radios (WLAN) to the LAN ethernet works in back and this allows for communications with wireless devices and wired devices when the modem is working fully in router mode.

WAN port will be the RJ11 DSL phone port where the modem connects to the DSL/Phone line.
