Title: 930L Hardware Revision A versus B
Post by: BAMoh on June 24, 2016, 09:48:08 PM
Whats the difference between A & B?
Am buying this cam to watch my dog. Should I look or B assuming its newer? Or it doesn't matter once I flash A to the latest firmware assuming the differences only relate to the firmware?

I would not be sure with the 930l..but sometimes features are added/removed.   The B is the newer one.

For example - the 5222L h/w A had a remote.  The 5222L h/w B does not have this option.   the h/w B has a fish eye for wider viewing.

I'm guessing the guts are mostly upgraded to newer components (maybe cheaper).

And with the 930L getting to be a bit older in the product line, I don't think much if any newer FW will be on the way so changes would be minimal if there was to be.
