Any way to change LPR queue name?
« on: August 22, 2014, 12:43:55 PM »

We have the dpr-1260 and two identical epson fx-890 printers. The problem is that the lpr queue name gets set automatically on BOTH printers to FX-890, making this product unusable for us.

Any method or hack to make this work?

Link>Welcome!

  • What region are you located?

Hmmm, ya, not sure about this one...I presume that if you use just one printer, everything works well. I don't know if the queue can be renamed and may have been an over site on handling of same model printer being connected on one print server as most users generally only have one model printer.

Can you change one of the printers to use a different method to connect and print? Maybe RAW or LPD?
