Hiya

I have been given this router as the thing keeps rebooting..

Looks like a bad flash to me hence the reboot..

Whats the procedure please to get this back into a working state (I can not get to the GUI as it keeps rebooting)

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Try this:
Emergency Recovery Mode
If this fails then, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
