Title: mydlink.com crashing cloud camera
Post by: pstrauss on February 21, 2013, 08:44:16 AM
I have had problems with mydlink cloud account seeing one of my two internet DCS 5222L cameras.

The two cameras in my account both work fine normally but over the last few days one of the camera seems to crash in the cloud. It was one camera on one day and the other camera the other day. The behavior was consistent on my computer, ipad, and iphone. Both eight digit identifying numbers would be present on the left tab, but only the functioning camera with have the name that I have assigned to it above the number. I could not access the streaming video or any other functions on the crashed camera.

I believe it is a myDlink cloud issue and not a camera issue because:

The inconvenience is that during the day a camera can be down and I cannot resolve the probelm until I get home.

Any thoughts from the D-Link support team.

Paul

I have the same problem with my 942L I just bought.
It should not be caused by my router because my other three cameras work fine.

I'm not DL support, but, my question to you is, "How do you solve the issue when you get home?"...

What are your exact steps to enabling whatever to make it work.

thanks!

In my case, I have to reboot my camera either by unplugging it or doing it through the setup/maintenance page.[/list]
