Is it possible to change the order of the cameras on the mydlink website and on iPhone/iPad apps? I am about to get a 5th camera, but I don't want it to be listed as the first camera. The only way I know of to change the camera list order is to physically switch the cameras, but I don't want to do that.

I believe the last camera added will be listed always at the top.
Short of re installing each camera, starting with 5, 4, 3, etc., I don't believe you can sort the cameras on Mydlink or Mydlink Lite. I use LivePro Cams app from the iTunes store (I think it was two bucks) on my iPhone and you can sort them anyway you want. However, using the third party viewer you would have to give each camera it's own port number and forward those in your router.
The biggest advantage of this app is that you can view all your cams simultaneously in thumbnails or individually, your choice.

Thanks, bimo, that is what I was afraid of. I was hoping there would be an easier way than reinstalling each camera. Thanks for the mention of LivePro Cams. Going to look it up now.

I will add this item to the mydlink wishlist sticky.

That would be great. Thank you, JavaLawyer.

No problem. . . Let's hope D-Link picks up on this.

Just wanted to add I think it also depends on camera model. I installed the cameras in the order 942L, 930L (1) and 930L (2); yet my 942L is at the top, 930L (2) in the middle and 930L (1) at the bottom. It doesn't make sense!

Perhaps the order is based on the camera serial number or MAC address. :-\

Here's something from the myDlink website "Each mydlink device has a unique 8-digit mydlink No. which is used to add the device to a mydlink.com account. Adding your device to a mydlink account allows you to access and manage your device remotely through the Internet by signing in to the mydlink.com website."
Are your cameras sorted numerically by that number?

It appears they are sorted by that number in descending order (based on my 5 cameras).

Thanks for the update! That was really a shot in the dark on my part. ;D
