/usr/sbin/transmission-daemon using 40 % of the CPU

When starting the P2P application to download files, I notice that  transmission-da is using between 20 and 40  of CPU , even when there is no download  ongoing.  ( latest version of the OS and fun-plug also installed. )

This result having the fan is always running and  generated  noice.

Does someone has a solution ?
