New Firmware Version 1.06 (for UK and EU?) causing issues
« on: September 29, 2015, 04:09:28 AM »

According to D Link Facebook - there is a new update to the firmware.  Version 1.06
Release Notes http://d2okd4tdjucp2n.cloudfront.net/DNS-320L/DNS-320L(LW)_Release_Note_for_Firmware_v1.06.pdf

Firmware: 1.06
Hardware: DNS-320L A1/A2/A3
 DNS-320LW A1/A2
Date: 2015/07/28
Note:    According   to the security issue fixed, please   use the new version of Mobile app, Storage utility and ShareCenter Sync to adapt this firmware version as previous   version will become invalid.
New Features:
- Support new version   of mobile app, mydlink access-NAS v2.0.0 (iOS   / Android)
Enhancements:
1. [Security] Several new security   enhancements
- New version of   Mobile app, Storage Utility and ShareCenter Sync are required   to adapt this firmware   version.
- Fun_plug   script   was removed and no longer   to be   supported.
Problems Resolved:
- None

Some users complaining mydlink lite does not work with new firmware.  I've not tested so cannot confirm.
I'm wondering if anyone at D Link can confirm the new app "Storage Utility and ShareCenter Sync" will replace mdlink lite?

And more importantly...where is the new app "Storage Utility and ShareCenter Sync"?  https://eu.mydlink.com/apps

You'll need to contact D-Link support for your region and ask them about this. Each region handles FW differently.

I recommend that if DNS units are working and your not effected by current FW problems, keep what's loaded.
