Test Files for HD video 5.1 Audio

Can anyone provide links to good test files to see what are best codecs and containers to use for converting movie files for DSM-520?  Would like to get best quality video at least 1280x720 plus 5.1 audio.  WMA audio not recognized by receiver, so a WMV produced from Windows Movie Maker has good video with VC-1 simple but WMA audio is seen as PCM stereo.  Rather than hit or miss attempts at different encoding, would hope to try some test files and then see if can duplicate format.
