tip: Owners with Linksys WRT 1900 AC routers
« on: April 14, 2015, 01:22:16 PM »

Just a tip for anyone using the DCS-932L with a Linksys 1900 AC router:

(I have Rev A hardware, not sure if this affects Rev B hardware.)

The camera will NOT negotiate a wireless connection with the router if the the router is set to use WPA2/WPA Mixed Personal Security Mode, which it will use by default. You will need to set your 2.4Ghz band to WPA2 Personal.

I spent ALL day configuring and reconfiguring the camera until I figured this out.  Hope this helps someone out there avoid frustration. ;)

Thanks for the tip. Will keep that in mind. Seen issues like that before with that router.  ::)

Good Luck
