dir-412 or dap-1350 doesn't work with Bell novatel u679 LTE Internet Stick

The same two router devices worked with the older Bell internet stick but they don't with the new one.

The Bell connect software for the pc seems the same as far as the settings go.

Neither Dlink dir-412 or dap-1350 device will connect. But the PC software direct does.

Help !!!!

Just wanted to post a working config.

Novatel LTE/HSPA+ stick U679

usb_modeswitch -v 0x1410 -p 0x5059 -V 0x1410 -P 0x7031 -M 5553424312345678000000000000061b000000020000000000000000000000 -n -W

Works great with Shibby's mod of TomatoUSB router software when put into the Init script section.
 

This is great if one is running a modified router and can figure out how to use this. It does indicate that the device has been understood and there may be a chance it could work with either of the dir-412 or dap-1350 devices.

Maybe someone on this board has some knowledge that can help ?

Hello,
I just registered to this forum so pls forgive me if am lost. Am using two Dlink dir-412 routers with zte mf192 dongles in Kenya(Orange). The first router has firmware 1.12ww while the second one 1.12ko(sold by the ISP). However I get very frequent disconnections and low thoroughput with the 1.12ww router. The two are in the same location. Pls help me out.
