This is my setup https://imgur.com/a/uai26Cw. I use the Dlink because my pc doesn't have Wi-Fi and it is too far from the Home Hub to run ethernet.
I noticed I was getting intermittent and frequent cutouts in a Discord call on my PC, so I decided to ping monitor. This is what I found:
1. intermittent timeouts pinging PC to Home Hub
2. intermittent timeouts pinging MacBook to PC coincidental to #1
3. less frequent timeouts pinging MacBook to Dlink (perhaps unrelated)
4. perfect connection pinging PC to Dlink
5. perfect connection pinging MacBook to Home Hub
How do I fix this?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

What is the brand and model# of the host router the 868 is connected too?
What is the distance between the 868 and the host wifi router? Ft?

What happens if you move the 868 closer to the main host router?

What channels are you using on the main host router?

Any wifi neighbors near by? If so, how many?

I can't move it closer while maintaining the wired connection to my PC.

about 10, but I used a Wi-Fi analyzer to find an unused channel in my area
