How do you have the router configured? There is a a drop down for Automatic and Local Only. I think if you use local only with out any other configurations, IPv6 should pass thru. Not sure however.

    This product has been discontinued.
    Free support for this product will end on 05/01/2018

If you can't seem to get the 855 to work, you might try some DD-WRT or OpenWRT to see if they support this model router....

You can use this as as LAN to LAN AP then anything will pass-thru: Turning a router into an AP. (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=40856.0)
