Title: DSR-150N VPN Issue
Post by: ziggy1621 on May 26, 2013, 06:17:32 PM
I'm setting up a Site to Site VPN and running into an issue. I have the VPN up and running. For the sake of example, we will have the MAIN site and the REMOTE site.  I can ping the MAIN site's 150n from the REMOTE site's PC (which is also behind a brand new 150N).  But I cannot ping the REMOTE site's router from the MAIN site's PC.  Also, I cannot ping any other devices on either network.  So basically, I have a VPN that I can access one router and no nodes!

Here are my settings reflected in the IPSec policy:

Policy Type: Auto
IPSec Mode: Tunnel
Select Local Gatway: Dedicated Wan
Remote Endpoint: IP address (and I have the IP of each other site)
Local IP: Subnet
REMOTE SITE: start IP is 10.0.0.0 and subnet of 255.255.255.0
MAIN SITE: start IP Is 192.168.0.0 and subnet of 255.255.255.0
Exchange Mode: main
Direction: both
NAT: on
REmote Identifier type: REMOTE WAN IP

I'm guessing there is something up with the Firewall, but I have VPN Passthrough enabled.

Lastly, when I'm on the MAIN site's router, I can go to SYstem Check an dping the IP of 192.168.0.4 (a device on the network). So the router is accessing the local network fine, just not allowing the VPN traffic to access the local network.

Any help appreciated!

I recommend phone contacting level 2 or higher D-Link support for your region and inquire about this to get more immediate help.
