I checked my Windows 10 x64 Ultimate and can get an additional menu system that has Disable Driver Enforcement. I'm curious if this may help users get SP working until D-Link has an updated version to support 10 fully.

Thanks FurryNutz.  With regards to the Windows 10 updates, since windows 10 forces you to update automatically you can't hide updates like you could normally do before.  I did manage to do a little digging and found that they made this now into a seperate tool, see links below :

http://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-releases-tool-to-hide-or-block-unwanted-windows-10-updates/

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3073930

So I have first uninstalled the kb, restarted, then ran the hide update tool to pick up on the missing update and flagged it to hide.  I just tried this out now - so far so good.  I'll let you guys know if this does not work.  But I am hoping the real issue gets looked at by dlink and has some sort of patch release on the new shareport utility version.

Kumar,
I'm having the same problem on three of my Windows 10 machines. I haven't tried the rollback. Please let me know if you find or hear of a solution.

The rollback of the windows update - KB3097617 - definitely resolved the issue and the hide update tool helped to hide the it from being re-installed automatically.  I am now able to connect to the printer but this is hopefully a temporary patch fix while dlink sorts this out - I don't like not installing a windows update.

Thanks for the feedback and glad it's working. I'll forward this on to D-Link for review. Hope they or MS will correct this.  ;)

I was under the impression this was a Microsoft problem not SP? How will an SP update fix the SXUPTP error?

I guess they just need to use a different digital signature...

I presume the current verson may not be compatible with 10 so an update is needed. Coming soon. Please be patient.  ;)

thanks for the update FurryNutz..... FYI another cumulative update was rolled out which included prior patches so the issue came back again.  I had to rollback and hide that one as well - KB3105210.  Hope that update comes soon.

I'm stumped Kumar. Where did you find SP 4.5?  My problem came back as well with the last update/patch.
