MyDlink Account - Can not access
« on: August 29, 2011, 05:19:12 AM »

I have problem with my DCS-930L camera. I have installed it  but when I tried to add this camera to my mydlink account I couldn't do that. Someone already add this camera to its account and system doesn't allow to add the same product to two different accounts. I have to delete from the previous one but it is not possible.

Does anyone knows hot to fix this?

A couple of questions:

Do you have more than one mydlink account?
Did you receive the conflict message the FIRST time you tried to register during the configuration process?

One additional question:

Are you sure you transcribed the proper S/N from the rear of your camera? I would double-check the number to make sure you're not trying to register another owner's camera.

I have only one account but this is not new camera so someone else probably use it with its account. Regarding  S/N, I didn' set anything up, during installation program its self gets data from camera.

When you login to your mydlink account, I assume the account says there are no devices registered? If this is the case, try calling D-Link technical support and see if they can break any existing registrations with your camera's S/N.

Please post your results here for others to see.

I have solution for this problem and it works.
Here is the procedure:

1.Please check the network adapter of the camera is correctly plugged to the router (Camera can connect to Internet).

Plugin the power adapter on the camera. Wait the camera LED go to green color.

2.Now do a DCS-930L camera hard reset (see below how to hard reset) to delete the device bind on the original account data.

3.Then close the wizard (if open) and re-open it to setup the camera.

To hard reset your camera:
Please use an unfolded paperclip to press and hold the Camera RESET button for at least 6 seconds while your camera is plugged in. Wait 60 seconds, and let the camera reboot back to the factory defaults.
