Video Over IP - DIR-825 to DAP-1522 - More Bandwidth?
« on: February 09, 2009, 05:20:04 PM »

I'm trying to transmit a the data signal for a video over IP solution from AT&T (Uverse) from the gateway to the TV receiver.  I can get the DIR-825 to connect to the DAP-1522 in bridge mode but there doesn't seem to be enough bandwidth.  I get 3 to 5 second of picture and sound before it freezes for 30 seconds or so.  The ethernet ports on the AT&T equipment are only 10/100 so there can't be that much information coming from the gateway.  Does anyone have any thoughts on improving the throughput of the wireless components?

Thanks,
Sylvan

What is the dap/dir wireless status?

The wireless network is active, I have internet access and can access the dir from connecting to the dap with an ethernet port.  Is there something more specific that I should look for?

Check to see what the Rate(Mbps) and Signal(%) show.
