I was unable to connect to SMB server and access USB storage from my computer. I didn't know that I didn't have required the SMB features installed in my Windows 10 PC in order to connect to SMB server of my router. So I thought it to be a firmware issue. I live in Bangladesh and the packaging of my router says that the router is made for Indian region. It had the firmware version 7.11 out of the box. I went to the website of Indian region and downloaded FW 7.10 and flashed it in my router and then 5Ghz stopped working. Also the physical radio button needed to be turned off and on every time it was restarted. Otherwise, the wireless won't work. So I searched the whole internet and could not find the original FW 7.11 that it came with. Luckily I came across the Taiwanese region website and found the GPL source code of D-link DIR-825 G1 FW 7.11. Then I spent hours in order to compile the source code and get the firmware file. Finally I made the router behave normal again.
Because of lack of support from D-link I think someone else might need to go through similar situation like me so decided to share this firmware here.
