Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

So was the ipad connected remotely or what was the iPad doing?
What is the device connected with the IP address 192.168.7.1?

Do you have Guest Zone enabled?
How is the remote access for the router configured currently? I presume it is disable?

is the iPad connecting to the main SSID wifi currently and getting access?

 Yes

Remote access is enabled with "deny All" checked. Initiall y, remote access was unchecked

No, it wasn't; though right now I am using an older (628) because of the remote access issue.

When I bought the 855L in Jan 2016, MyDlink was connected and I had someone unknown log on to the network. I have blocked his MAC address and have not seen him since. I disconnected the MyLink
