strange connection problems with router. PLEASE HELP!!!

ok, I just got cable internet today and my internet works fine plugged up to the modem and it works find with the first 2 things that I connected to it, my xbox and my computer, but now when my brother gets home to get on his xbox and computer it doesn,t let him connect to it for some reason, and i can connect wireless or strait up to it, if some one knows whats wrong please tell me!

How is your brother trying to connect to your router? wire or wireless

If wireless, make sure he is connecting to your SSID and not the neighbors.  Also, make sure both devices are set for automatic on the way they obtain their IP from the router.  If IPs were manually set under the old set up, they may not be able to find your router.
