I think that it shows the SSID due to the new Guest Network option.  That way you can see what systems are going through your Primary Network and which are using the Guest Network connection.

Probably you have right. in 1.11 there wasn't any name in wireless NUMBER OF WIRELESS CLIENTS. My mistake.

I do not see anything about support for any of the newer Draft Standards, i assume this is still Draft 2.0? Is there any word on when the firmware will support Draft 4.0?

Since upgrading to 1.20, my server-shared printer is still visible to all the client PCs but connection to it (e.g. selecting it in app, like Adobe Reader or Microsoft Word) takes around 5 minutes, making it virtually unusable. Given that as far as I am aware, all that has changed is the router firmware, I have to suspect it.

Any ideas/workarounds?

D-Link,
Why did you pull the v1.20 firmware from the download section?

I am running v1.20 and I have not tried to go back to v1.10.
I read, after you update to 1.20 you can not go back to pre-v1.20 - is this true?

Thanks...

I just went back to the 1.11 BETA.  no problems flashing back.

I'm not going to try and flash back to the official 1.11

Same issue here, I moved the printer to two different computers and tried many network drivers all to figure out that what changed was the router firmware!
There must be somekind of workaround...

Hi,

Felt brave today and installed the new Beta v1.20 per Lycan's post.  So far it seems fine.  I was able to recover my saved settings no problems.

One question, is that I am showing a WFADevice under my UPnp items as well as the router itself, which had been shown.  What is the WFA Device ?  Its a new term to me...

Hi,

Maybe I spoke a l;ittle too soon....  I just tried to edit one of my schedules I had set up previously, and it popped up an error message about the time being invalid, even tho all I did was try to change 10 : 15 PM  to 10 : 00 PM.

I was able to retain the initial 10 : 15 PM time by refreshing the browser page, but had no luck changing to the new time I wanted.

Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) device

First hit on Google...

Is 1.20 worth the upgrade? There does not seem to be a lot of changes.

It is not worth the upgrade unless you have deauthentication issues. All my deauthentications are gone with 1.20.
Also there are still many bugs...

I visited the D-Link website and the latest FW is the 1.11 version for the DIR-655? Where can I download the 1.20 version?

Thank you,
DS.
