Title: DPH-50U won't switch to Skype
Post by: johnplee on November 23, 2009, 08:36:31 AM
after several uses, my DPH-50U will not switch to Skype with the ## command.  If I unplug the DPH-50U from the USB and reconnect it, then it will work correctly for a while.  However eventually it will stop switching.  In other words, I press ## and the DPH-50U will stay in PSTN mode rather than switching to Skype.  Any suggestions?

I read that thread prior to posting my question.  The problem is that I don't want to change the registry to default to VOIP, I just want the DPH-50U to behave the way it's supposed to behave with both a phone line and Skype.  In other words, the default is phone line.  Pressing ## will switch to Skype.  It does work correctly initially after first plugging in the DPH-50U.  But eventually it will stop working, and presing ## does not switch.  I haven't been able to determine anything happening that causes it to stop working.
